Prayer Shawl

The Episcopal Church of St. Paul has its own Prayer Shawl Ministry group. We meet every other Thursday at 1 PM at Ann Bennett’s home. Call (973)-635-3180 for more information. All are welcome. We have teachers to help if you haven’t knitted in a while or if you are a beginner.

Our purpose is to make shawls for those people in nursing homes or in Hospice care. Our parishioner, Barbara Conroy, is a hospice nurse and after the shawls have been blessed by our Rector Elizabeth Kaeton, Barbara takes them to the hospice patients. We have also given them to people we know about who have had life changing events in their lives – good or bad.
