Christian Education
Sunday School and Nursery St. Paul's offers a safe and fun-filled nursery during the 10 o'clock service each Sunday, staffed by Red Cross Babysitting certified high school teens, who are members of our congregation.
Our Sunday School program begins at pre-K and runs through eighth grade. The teachers are volunteer members of the church and include both adults and teens. For pre-K through second grade, we teach the popular "Godly Play" curriculum which uses creative play as a basis for learning about God. Developed and classroom tested for more than 20 years, Godly Play is currently being used in churches of many denominations throughout the US, UK, Australia and Canada. Third through eighth grades follow "Living the Good News," which is more closely aligned with the gospel readings. This curriculum invites children to meet Jesus week by week, as they explore the stories proclaimed in the scripture.
Our children also participate in St. Paul's outreach efforts and important events in the church year. Our program year kicks off with a "Welcome Back Sunday" and continues with various arts and crafts projects to supplement the curriculum and celebrate holidays.

St. Paul's Vacation Bible School is a popular tradition and eagerly anticipated each summer. It is a great opportunity to welcome the outside community to our church. We regularly attract more than 30 campers ranging in age from 4 - 10 years old. Again, this program is fully staffed by volunteers from our congregation.
We have an enthusiastic group of teachers, teens and Sunday School students. It is an ever-changing, evolving and active ministry that is vital to the life of our church!
