Worship Services Sundays, 8:00 am A simple, quiet service, normally Rite II from the Book of Common Prayer, but usually Rite I during Advent and Lent. There are readings from the Bible, a sermon and celebration of Holy Eucharist, all in about 45 minutes.
Sundays, 10:00 am A traditional Rite II service from the Book of Common Prayer, with inspirational music, reading of scripture, sermon and celebration of Holy Eucharist. There is coffee and conversation after the service in the parish hall. Sunday School, 10:00 am Children attend Sunday School during the first part of the adult worship service and join their parents after the sermon for the communion service. We believe it's important for families to receive the Eucharist together, while allowing enough time for Christian education. Please note: although we encourage children to participate in Sunday School with their peers, families are welcome to have their children attend the service with them. Children can take a book or soft toy from the padded bench in the Narthex into the worship area. We also provide a small area in the Narthex where restless children can play quietyly while their parents view the service and listen to the piped-in audio.
Wednesdays, 9:00 am Holy Eucharist and Healing Service. This informal gathering provides readings from the Bible, a brief homily and Eucharist, all within about 30 minutes. If you have time, you are encouraged to stay for prayers for healing and the laying on of hands. The community often gathers at a local luncheonette (Angies) for breakfast prior to the service, at 8am. Come as you are - leave strengthened in spirit.
