Praised by the Newark Star-Ledger for having “played the harp with color and great facility,” Merynda is a winner of the Artists International Competition and the Goldblatt Award. She studied at the Hilversums Conservatorium in the Netherlands and the Manhattan School of Music.
Merynda has performed at prominent churches including St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart. She has accompanied renowned soprano Aprile Millo in recitals in New York, Delaware, and Toronto, and frequently collaborates with violinist Christopher Collins Lee. Their album, Romantic Duos, was released in 2011.
Through her Chamber Music for Charity recital series, Merynda has also helped raise funds for organizations including Homeless Solutions, Family Promise, HomeSharing, and America’s Grow-a-Row.
